This is a really nice place for dinner – unpretentious but glam setting with a good mix of smart and casual diners.
The cuisine is typical modern European gastronomy, with a slightly more British spin than most. We enjoyed divine scallops and a hearty ham terrine with proper old school home made piccalilli, followed by guinea fowl and red mullet. All perfectly cooked and presented by a friendly yet unobtrusive serving team.
We were never hurried or ignored while we lingered over an excellent cheeseboard with port.
A luxuriant three course dinner for two with champagne, wine and port was £50 a head, which represented excellent value for money.
