In London, I went to Notting Hill where they filmed the movie, “Notting Hill” staring Julia Roberts. I talked to the locals there and they said she never left her trailer…they were by a coffee shop and she would send her assistant to get her coffee, and they said she was a real jerk.
I still enjoy her on film, but it has damaged my enjoyment of some movies she stars in.
How about you?
If your favorite actor has a bad reputation…like stiffing bell-hops or waiters…or worse like abusing spouses or girlfriends…or have some crazy ideas of religion (Tom Cruise) does it make you like them less?
Old Sid’s been going since 1966. He loves it, especially the scoff and sup. He lost his trousers one year but he said it was his own fault for having a locked zip on his back pocket where he keeps his wallet.
